Last week marked my final week of Co-Op at Boston Casting Company Inc. Over the past five months I’ve learned an incredible amount about the casting process, client relations, professionalism in the entertainment industry, and the ins and outs of what it looks like to hold a talent-facing position.
While I am absolutely thankful for the technical skillset and industry exposure I’ve acquired through my first Co-Op, I am also extremely appreciative of the relationships I built with both my supervisors and fellow interns. I genuinely enjoyed coming into the office every day because of culture at Boston Casting––my questions were met with comprehensive answers and my mistakes with constructive support. Whether it was a TikTok ad or an upcoming film, I considered every project I contributed to an equal chance for personal and professional growth.
Special thanks to the entire team at Boston Casting but especially to Melissa Morris and Mikayla Cramer for their outstanding leadership as my direct supervisors.
As this chapter comes to a close I’m excited to continue my search for opportunities in production, development, and talent-centric work.
